Christmas 2014

Merry Christmas All!! 

We had an awesome Chistmas. Pleanty of time with our families, and plenty of time to relax. Christmas is so much better when you have a young child. The excitement they get from opening their gifts is better than any gift. Bug was exstatic about Santa coming to visit and curious about what he would bring. It was amazing. 

This face says it all. He was THRILLED.

Invites

I've been trying my hand over the last couple of moths at some simple invitation making. I enjoy it quite a bit.

I've been considering an Etsy business where the client request a certain color scheme and I make custom templates for them that they can edit and print themselves. It's a thought for now. 

Jax The Elf

We started Elf on the Shelf this year for Bug. Though he frequently asks, "Mommy, why you put the elf there?", I think he enjoys it. He gets a kick out of finding it each morning.

He showed up that first morning on the wreath on the front door. 

 He was shy at first, but quickly got into the swing of things, raced with Bug's friends, and played us some piano.

He got into a little mischief as elves tend to do. 

He did do a little decorating

Played Some Games

He even went camping. 

He had fun

 

Did a little hanging out.

Made me some coffee at 3AM

 Wrapped some gifts. 

 And tried his hand at the guitar.

So far Jax has had en awfully eventful month, always keeping an eye on Bug to make sure he ends up on the Nice List.
